The main objective of e-Life project is to provide all the necessary technological infrastructure to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and those who assist them too. This initiative will provide services to help people with intellectual disabilities to perform daily activities independently inside and outside the home. Therefore, the aim of the project is to research, develop and implement technological tools, based on technology platforms, for people with intellectual disabilities without absolute autonomy promoting e-inclusion with ICT-based solutions. This initiative will provide a new typology of innovative products, creating a new business segment. It expects to create a system for tracking and monitoring the actions taken by the person with intellectual disability during the daily routine in order to be more independent

The aim of the TALIS+ENGINE: Cooperative and Semantic Hybrid Reasoning for Service Orchestration in Reactive Environments subproject is to advance in the automatic or semi-automatic service composition within assistive environments with the goal of allowing in a spontaneous manner the environment adaptation to the concrete needs and goals of the user. Such adaptation of environment’s behaviour demands the adoption of cooperative, hybrid (symbolic and connectionist), adaptable and scalable (evolving being aware of the emerging and disappearing devices and their sensing and acting capabilities) intelligence techniques. The concrete objectives pursued by this sub-project of cooordinated project “TALISMAN+: Intelligent system for follow-up and promotion of personal autonomy” will be: Model the assistive needs of users and the reactive assistive capabilities they demand from the environment. Context-awareness perception. Detect and predict the assistive needs in order to act in consequence. React adapting the assistive environment behaviour according to the detected users goals and needs. tipo de documento Proyecto

The TALISMAN project aims to research and demonstrate transferrable solutions to society by offering services based on information and communication technologies in order to promote personal autonomy in prevention and monitoring scenarios. The four core objectives of TALISMAN are the following: To analyse and validate emerging multimodal sensing technologies which are reliable for prevention and monitoring in the personal environment. To develop interoperability procedures at a semantic level which ease the effective and efficient convergence of personal autonomy supporting technologies. To obtain resulting personal social and health profiles, based on knowledge, which serve to manage essential and high quality information useful for third parties responsible of providing prevention and monitoring services. To create and evaluate in real scenarios user-oriented secure services provision framework including extensible and interoperable algorithms and software components to provide accessible interaction, both locally and remotely, to all key stakeholders. For further information, please visit the TALISMAN website(http://www.morelab.deusto.es/talisman/).
